So my parents got me a pug puppy on Saturday. Now that the "I'm in a new place" has worn off for her, she is finding places she can go that I can't. Her new favorite place in under the couch. I really hopes she she doesn't get stuck as she grows.

I f**king can't stand my family right now. My Uncle is the biggest d**k on the face of the planet. Ever since my aunt past away all he has been looking out is number 1 and how much money he can get out of this. First he made snide remarks about my brother and sister-in-law and now he made a comment about Jeff to my grandmother. The best part is now my parents are trying to not "making waves". I want to tell my uncle where he can shove it. I am so F**king sick of what happens to people when someone dies and they leave money behind, AND FUCK NOT MAKING WAVES!!!!!

My aunt died. She was going to be 61 in two weeks. My mom left a message on my phone saying to call home. I was ready for my mom to say that something was wrong with my grandmother, I wasn't prepared to hear this. I came home from work, and not I'm just sitting here wait for my grandmother to get home. She had 6 kids and this is the third to pass away before her.

I don't know if any of you have heard, but there were two teenagers that were shot up here around 4am sunday. They were at a party at the this old abandoned military bunker in Helendale. The two teens were boyfriend and girlfriend.

I didn't here about until I got to work today, and even at that the only reason I heard about it was because I work with the mother of one of the teenagers. I didn't know her (the teenager) all that well, but I had met her a few times and would transfer her calls to her mother when she would call. I feel so bad for her mother. It's weird to think I won't be seeing her around the office anymore. It's odd how sometimes you wake up and someone you knew, even if it was all that well, isn't there anymore.

I will now be working for San Bernardino County of Schools. So yesterday I had to go get finger printed for the second time in 2 months. I got a new job that we allow me to have 1 job and pay for school and my bills. This is going to free up so much more time. This makes me happy ;). And now it doesn't matter how much I piss off my mom she won't be able to fire me!!! Last time my finger prints cleared in 2 days so hopefully it won't take that long this time too. Hopefully my first day will be March 12 depending on when my finger prints clear.

So my new job is being a proctor at my old elementary school. Yep they put me in charge of somewhere around 800 kids. Now what were they thinking.

Anyway thought this was funny/cute.

Little Kid (haven't learned any names yet): Do you do this because you want to be a teacher or do you JUST want to be a proctor?

Me: No I am going to school to be a teacher.

Little Kid: (blank stare. did not understand I meant College)

Me:(jokingly) When I grow up I want to be a teacher.

Little Kid: Well how old are you?

Me:(fully expecting the "wow that's old) I'll be 21 in a month.

Little kid: Oh! Then your still a kid too.

Well, it made me happy that a 8 year old thinks I'm still young.

Busy but Happy (I don't know how to use cuts)

So... I don't think I have anything horrible happening in my life right now, and I felt like telling anyone who will listen.

Work
I will be starting a new job tomorrow as a proctor or campus aide or whatever you called the adult that made you follow the rules when you were playing on the playground. This is a good set for me since I have no real experience with child and it also get my foot in the door a district so when it comes time to do my student teaching it won't be that hard (though I do want to teach high school). The one down side is at current I will only be making $7.80. The good side this that my current boss, (while he sometime makes me want to hurt very very mad) is a really really nice guy and is letting me keep a few hours a week to help with the money thing. That and I help keep my mom sane and he really likes that. The good thing about both these jobs they are only during the week and since I don't pay social security on my school job the set up a retirement plan. While that maybe nothing now if a stay in a (any) district until I retire that will be a nice retirement.

School
I will be getting my AA at the end of the spring semester!! While this is the high school diploma of degrees at least I will have one. I will also be ready to transfer to Cal Sate SB to go through there teaching program, but I am going to stay at VVC so I can take a few of lower level BA classes for less money (since I don't "need" help for school I pay for it myself. And I don't strip hence the two jobs). Yes I am going to school and working two jobs. Told you I was busy. Oh I forgot mention I am a Math major so guess what fun math classes I'm taking.

Family
I am getting along with my family as usual my mom and dad are really cool and we have a really good relationship. They are actually going to Vegas with me and Jeff for my 21st bday, and I can't wait to have lots of fun with them. My Grandmother is always interesting. Imagine a little old lady man hating New Yorker... now make her real, this is my grandmother. Coming for two completely different time we don't always see eye to eye, but she loves me and I love her. As for my brother, sister-in-law, and the rest of my family they all live down the hill so I see them just enough of the time so that no one gets sick of each other.

Jeff and I are stilling going strong (take that however you want) Feb. is his bday, my bday, and our year and a half month mark( I reserve the word anniversary for a full year) so we have a lot to look forward to. He helps me with school and I try not to bug him too much with what I believe to be very very mild ADD. Not much to say here just things are going really good.

Faire
The only not so happy part. I don't know how much time I will get to play at faire this year. With the jobs I have I would be able to make it out, but the classes are going to kick my ass. So I am doing my best to be able to have fun, but not get behind in school.

So starting to feel like my normal self again. I hate getting sick. Still need to finish Christmas shopping. Still need to do Christmas baking. This month is going by really quickly. 2006 is almost over the closer to Feb. it gets the more excited I get. I will final be 21!!!! Actually I will be 21 two months from to day. Well guess I got get back to studying for my math final.
